Covid 19

St. Leo's College COVID-19 Response Plan.pdf

With schools opening this week, the Department is launching a communications campaign focusing on the importance of upholding high standards of safety in schools and at home.

The campaign is multi-faceted and features a radio ad aimed at parents. This will air nationally and locally from Wednesday 5 January and will continue to be broadcast over the coming weeks.

The digital aspect of the campaign features a video of primary and post-primary students encouraging their fellow students to stay safe and stay home if they have Covid-19 symptoms.

This element of the campaign will also be heavily promoted across social media channels and includes messages in English, Irish, Polish, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Romanian and ISL. The Department is currently looking at developing materials in more languages.

The digital advertising promotes the videos and links to further materials, including posters and information on symptoms.

The most up to date information on symptoms is always available from the HSE.

We would be grateful for your assistance in helping to promote and amplify the campaign through your own digital and social media channels.

You can keep track of our activity by keeping an eye on our LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter accounts; the materials will also be live on gov..ie; Instagram and Facebook.

Kind regards,
