St. Leo’s College has a strong tradition of Athletics with many cross country and Track & Field successes over the years.
All students are welcome to join Athletics, whether they are members of Athletics Clubs outside of school, or just want to take up the sport to enjoy it and stay active.
Athletics training takes place once a week throughout the year, increasing to twice a week during Track & Field season. Training takes place during lunchtime or after school.
Each training session is varied to cover sprints, distance running, relays, circuit training and field events. Challenges are carried out at various points over the year so that the students can track their progress.
