Folk/Liturgical Choir
Under the direction of Ms.Aine Sheils and Ms. Aisling Byrne the Folk/Liturgical Choir are essential to sacred and liturgical ceremonies throughout the school calendar.
Orchestra
Orchestra rehearsals are under the direction of Ms. Mc Carthy.
Traditional Group
The traditional Group rehearse weekly under the guidance of Ms. Byrne and perform for school events and concerts.
Musical
Transition Year students take part in a school musical production. The musical is all inclusive and every student is given the opportunity to perform on stage. St. Leo's College has teamed up with the CBS St. Mary's Academy boys in recent years. This year rehearsals are already well underway for Back to the 80s. Tickets for the amazing show in March are available from the Visual Theatre and online.
London Music Tour
Music students and students who take part in music related activities are afforded the opportunity to travel to London in April. The London Music Tour includes tickets to two West-End shows, a concert in St. Martin in the Fields and a tour of the Royal Academy of Music Museum.
Summer Concert Series
Students are encouraged to showcase their artistic performance skills towards the end of the academic year. Any student is welcome to perform for an audience of their peers and teahers on a weekly basis in the school assembly hall. Parents are most welcome to attend.
